What do our different condition grades mean?

Understanding Refurbished Device Grades
When buying refurbished electronics, cosmetic condition is one of the key differences between devices. All our devices — regardless of grade — are fully tested, 100% functional, and come with warranty. The grade simply reflects how the device looks on the outside.

We offer three cosmetic grades: A, B, and C. Here's what each grade means, how it affects pricing, and why customers might choose that grade.

Grade A – Excellent Condition
Cosmetic condition:
Grade A devices are in near-mint condition. They look almost like new, with minimal to no visible signs of wear. You may find tiny, barely noticeable hairline scratches if you look very closely, but no dents or scuffs.

Pricing:
This is the highest price point among refurbished grades — usually 10–20% below the original retail price. You pay a bit more for the best-looking unit.

Why choose Grade A?

• You want the appearance of a brand-new device at a lower price

• Ideal for gifts or professional use (e.g. in client-facing settings)

• You're sensitive to visible scratches or wear

Grade B – Good Condition
Cosmetic condition:
Grade B devices have light to moderate cosmetic wear. This may include small scratches on the screen or casing and occasional scuffs on corners or edges. The wear is noticeable up close but doesn’t impact function.

Pricing:
Priced around 20–30% below retail. A good balance between savings and appearance.

Why choose Grade B?

• You want to save more without sacrificing performance

• You’re okay with a few cosmetic imperfections

• Great for students, family members, or daily use

Grade C – Fair Condition
Cosmetic condition:
These devices show heavier signs of previous use. Expect deeper scratches, multiple scuffs, or small dents. The screen may have visible marks that don’t interfere with usability. Despite this, the device functions perfectly.

Pricing:
This is the lowest price point — often 30–50% below retail.

Why choose Grade C?

• You want maximum savings

• Appearance isn’t a priority — function is what matters

• Great for kids, backups, or rough environments (e.g. work sites, workshops)

Still Fully Functional — Regardless of Grade
It’s important to stress that every device, no matter the grade, is tested and guaranteed to work. You’ll get the same great performance — just with different levels of cosmetic wear and different price tags to match.
